Ingredients Matter, Let's Have a look at some you'll find in our Shampoo Bar:
Fair Trade Cocoa Butter: Soothes and softens hair without being greasy.
Marula Oil: Perfect for dry, frizzy hair as it has moisturizing and hydrating properties. It's very lightweight and works like a charm on dandruff and provides some protection from free radicals thanks to vitamins C and E.
African Black Soap: It's basically magic soap containing a trifecta of cleansing properties being: antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal. It reduces itchy scalp and contains a mix of vitamins and minerals that can help with hair growth!
Ginseng Root Extract: Increases the dermal cells on the scalp which, in turn, strengthens the follicles and roots of the hair. This not only encourages the new growth of strands but also and prevents hair thinning and breakage. Also cuts down on dandruff.
Lemongrass Essential Oil: Known for strengthening hair follicles, adding shine, relieving scalp irritation and itchiness, and reducing dandruff.
Royal Jelly: While honey serves as food for the worker bees, royal jelly is food for the queen bee. The proteins and other vitamins found in royal jelly can boost hair growth, unblock hair follicles, rejuvenate scalp and repair hair damaged tissues, and is a permanent solution to dandruff.

A message from our CEO, Tree
How much conditioner do you use? As a curly haired girl, I realized that conditioner was the #1 product I used and boy did I use a ton of it; at least 2-3 bottles of conditioner per month to detangle my waist length hair. I would often think, "Wow, what a waste, there's got to be a better way."
And there was. Seven years ago I decided to do something about it and created the Tree Naturals Solid Conditioner Bar. At the time, this sort of thing wasn't really heard of and it took some time to catch on. My goal was to create a product that was formulated with good-for-you ingredients that actually worked for all hair types, would help save you time, money and to reduce our ecological footprint, but I realized we still dropped the ball by shrink wrapping and shipping them in plastic.
Your feedback is crucial to us and we’re happy to let you know that it's been 1 year since we eliminated the plastic shrink wrap from our Conditioner Bars. But it doesn't stop there, we are proud to announce that for the past 2 months we only ship our Conditioner Bars in padded paper mailers. Our conditioner bars are now 100% plastic free!
Did you know it takes plastic about 400 years to degrade?
How Does It Stack Up?

So how will we ship your bar?
- Each bar is wrapped in tissue paper (to keep your bar fresh and to absorb any oil).
- Our label is wrapped on the outside of the clamshell to keep it secure.
- Your bar is placed into a paper padded mailer for safe transporting on its way to you.
