Tree knows what it feels like to look for products that fit your hair instead of asking your hair to fit the product.

After her big chop in 2009, she began developing gentle, moisture-focused formulas for her own curls. She founded Tree Naturals in 2011 and shared her products, styles and natural-hair experience through YouTube and social media.

Today, Tree remains at the heart of the brand’s formulation and customer care. Her approach is practical: understand what your hair needs, use products with a clear purpose, and build a routine you can repeat without making every wash day complicated.

Tree is a Virginia State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and holds a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from Strayer University. Her brand brings that business background together with years of hands-on formulation and listening to Curlfriends.

Tree Naturals is still about the reason she started: helping people feel more confident caring for their hair.
