LCO Method, The Easiest Way to Moisturize Natural Hair

You’ve probably heard people talking about the LCO Method. But there’s so much buzz that it’s hard to separate the truth from the hype. That’s why I want to share with you my honest review about this moisturizing hair method and how to easily do it in the comfort of your home.

What is the LCO Method?

Before diving fully into this subject, I will like to define the LCO Method.

LCO Method means Liquid, Cream, Oil Method; Rochelle Alikay Graham-Campbell of Alikay Naturals credit herself for coining the term and trademarking it.

The LCO method works like magic, it's scientifically proven, and it will give you perfectly moisturized hair when done with our Tree-O Bundle in the right order.

See what some of our customers have to say about it

Found out about this gem of a product line via Pinterest and decided to try the Tree-O and these products did not disappoint! Left my curls super moisturized and well defined. I've been getting compliments about my hair from my co-workers all week! - Regina H.

The LCO styling method consists of three steps using only three products which are all present in the Tree-O Bundle. You should apply this method after nailing down your wash day with our signature wash day guide. Get it FREE by clicking the link.

What are the Steps of the LCO Method?

Step One Rice Flower & Shea Leave In = Liquid (can be used daily)

Our Rice Flower & Leave-in conditioner should be applied immediately after the hair has been cleansed, it provides long-lasting moisture and helps detangle.  It can also be used as style refresher when experiencing dryness during the week.

Step Two Whipped Curl Crème = Crème (use every three days)

The Whipped Curl Crème should be used in this step when deciding the perfect style, but be sure to pay attention to factors of your own hair (length, texture, etc) to make the best choices! This should be used every three days to enhance your curl.

Step Three Natasha's Growth Butter = Oil (use daily).

There are several oil options to use when styling and sealing and just as many ways to use them!  But I would recommend our Natasha’s Growth Butter, because it’s a natural solid that melts into strands and works on every hair type, and it would surely get you the best result.

But that’s not all!

Choose LCO Method over the LOC Method

Most of you must have also heard about the LOC method; here is a comparison between the two.

Unlike the LCO method, LOC follows the sequence of applying a liquid, Oil, and cream to your hair. Natural hair experts identify the LOC method as being best for women of various hair textures including those with relaxed hair, but many agree that this method is especially useful for the following:

  • Thin/fine hair
  • All porosity levels

We at Tree Naturals are 100% team LCO, but of course as long as you are moisturizing and sealing your hair (and we recommend daily) you are good to go!

Why LCO Method for Retaining Moisture?

Here are some of the benefits of using our Tree-O Bundle.

  • It aids fast hair growth
  • Moisturize hair
  • It offers Less hair breakage
  • Overall healthy hair
  • Easy styling, etc., etc
