It's Britni here, the Tree Naturals Social Media and Marketing Specialist! Last weekend, the Tree Naturals Team attended the Fifth Annual Naturalista Hair Show in Silver Spring, Maryland! I just want to say that Silver Spring is such a beautiful and diverse place! There was a farmers' market, a large shopping mall, and fantastic entertainment. We did NOT want to leave! Our day started with lots of caffeine and ended with a ton of memories with fellow naturalistas!
We received an immense amount of love from natural hair cuties while we were there!
Our CEO Tree wanted the naturalistas to really learn not just about our products, but also how to properly use them. Tree invited Shakeita with @ReplicaOfImij_llc Salon to join us to educate the culture! Shakeita performed live demos and taught about proper twisting methods, product application, and giving your crown the TLC it deserves. When I tell you the naturalistas flocked for the live demo, they ran to us! There were numerous questions being asked and it was amazing to learn that us curlies have some of the same struggles. Shakeita even had some of the men come over to try our ZEN Mens' products to groom their beards. Shout-out to Shakeita for blessing us with natural hair education!
We sold out of pretty much everything! Our Natasha's Growth Butter and Whipped Curl Creme were definitely the favorites!
We had such a blast at this year's 5th Annual Naturalista Hair Show! This was my first hair show and I didn't know what to expect, but I was so blown away. Lots of laughter, love, and beautiful hair! We will be in attendance next year!
Be sure to leave us a comment down below! We would love to continue the natural hair conversation.
The past couple weeks have been … interesting to say the least. One of my close girlfriends decided to color her own hair and it was a disaster! Another friend got into a steamy argument with her co-worker and personally I’ve been struggling to keep my energy levels up and attitude in check! So, it got me to thinking. What if? No, it can’t be…or could it?
Hmmmm, so that got me to thinking...how can we apply this idea of meal prep to our hair? To help you better understand what this process could look like, keep reading.
