Our Botanical Flaxseed Gel was made for curls, coils, and tighter textures (3B–4C) that want hold, definition, and shine without heaviness.

This is not a thick, heavy gel. It has a slippery, lightweight texture that glides through soaking wet hair, helping define your curls, boost shine, and create a soft cast for longer-lasting styles.

Apply to soaking wet hair for best results. This allows the gel to spread evenly and helps reduce the chance of flakes.

If you use Leave-In underneath, work the Leave-In fully through each section before applying Gel. Use a light, even layer and keep your styling layers simple.

Styling note: Choose Botanical Flaxseed Gel or Whipped Curl Crème for your styling path. Do not layer them together.

A cast will form as your hair dries. Once fully dry, use a few drops of oil to gently scrunch it out and reveal soft, defined curls.

How to Use (to style):
First, apply our Rice Flower & Shea Leave-In Conditioner or Hair Milk to hair. Part hair in 4 sections. Apply 1-3 pumps of Botanical Flax Seed Gel per section (depending on length) to clean, soaking wet hair and scrunch through, finger coil or twist to define curls. Let air dry, diffuse or sit under a hooded dryer to set the style. Once hair is fully dry, gently scrunch out any cast with a small amount of our oil or Natasha’s growth butter. Voila! Say hello to super defined, shiny curls!

Choose Botanical Flaxseed Gel or Whipped Curl Crème for your styling step. Do not layer them together.

How to Use (to refresh curls):
Mist curls with our Curl Refresher Spray and scrunch a couple pumps of the Botanical Flax Seed Gel into hair. Finger coil or re-twist if needed. Then go live your best life and look awesome doing it!
