Founder and CEO, LaTresha "Tree" Sayles is a graduate of Virginia State University and holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Marketing and a Master's Degree from Strayer University in Health Services Administration.

Tree made the decision to do the Big Chop in 2009, which resulted in her need to cultivate gentle, hydrating products that would keep her unique mixture of curls and waves, healthy & strong.  At the time, these kinds of products weren’t readily available on the market like today.

Using her scientific curiosity since childhood and endless hours of research and development, Tree began hand-crafting the hair care line for her own personal hair needs in 2011. Due to the rise in YouTube videos and tutorials, Tree took advantage of the platform and shared many of her styles and products through social media channels, thus resulting in the birth of Tree Naturals.  Her formula for success is attributed to creating moisture-rich, healing products for all hair types and textures using solid ethical practices.

Tree has solidified herself as an industry expert in her craft through education, persistence and passion.
